KEEP ME POSTED!

Positivity in our Postal Services

Connecting With Good People Along the Way, One Package at a Time.

Every package I send out, whether it’s art, cards, gifts, or just a simple letter, I try and use the opportunity to let our good folks in the Postal Service know they are appreciated. Whether it’s the Fox Layng fox stamp or a mini character postal sticker, they spread my gratitude and hopefully some smiles to brighten a rough day. More often than not the only Postal Service folks we see are at the counter when we drop off a package or when they are dropping it off in our mailbox. Rarely do these hard working people hear our thanks for what they do. All the people who put in long hours behind the scenes sorting our mail or even moving it from one facility to another, they almost never hear a word of appreciation from those of us who depend on them.

So I’ve made it a mission to send thanks with every package, my daughter has too, and even a few others have been inspired.

If you’re in the postal service and have a moment of kindness you’ve seen while on the job, please click the link below and share it with me. I’ll do my best to share some of them here on my site in the hope it inspires others and brightens their day. If you’ve seen one of my “Thank you notes” on a package and it made the day a little easier, please reach out, I’d love to know it might have made a difference to lighten the load. Together we might start something special. *See below for a few guidelines

*Please use the subject line: “Keep Me Posted!” to avoid the spam folder minions.

Please do not use names of the people involved. I will be changing names before posting to prevent any potential negative consequences, because as we know, even a good deed can bite us in the butt.

Please sign your emails with preferred “Dear Abby” style nom de plume, i.e. Postage Due in Seattle, or Long Lost Letters in London. If not included, one may be created to protect your identity.

Please do not send pictures or attachments. For security/safety reasons they will be unopened.

Negativity will not be posted and negative comments on posts will be removed. This is not a place to bash the Postal Service. I’m sure that’s the one thing they’ve heard enough of. Kindness is in short supply these days and carries greater value.
