Last year I started working with a Star Wars/Garbage Pail Kids parody mash-up card set called, Garbage Chute Droids. It was my first time working on insert sketch cards for packs. Later on GCD’s creator, Adam Marks held a kid’s art contest, which my daughter entered and subsequently was one of the winners. Her card and one of my sketch cards were reproduced as part of a pair of special sets. The experience for both of us has been a incredible and Adam has been a joy to work with. In my next post I’ll share a link on where you can get your own packs of GCD cards (there’s still a couple of my sketch cards out there last I heard, but three have been found already) and there will be more cards coming in the next series. Today, I want to tell you where you can get some awesome shirts featuring two of my sketch card designs as well as others from GCD artists.

I’ve purchased shirts like these from a variety of online shops and these are not those scratchy kind that flake after the first washing. If you do purchase your own shirt, I recommend washing inside out and folding with the image flat to increase long-term durability. Or you can frame it and hang it like I’m considering, because they just look so cool!
